Privacy and Cookie Policy

Why you should read this policy

We ask that you read this Privacy Policy carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use and share personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information and on how to contact us and supervisory authorities in the event you have a complaint.

Who we are

https://www.marlacommercialblinds.co.uk (Website) is brought to you by Marla Custom Blinds Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales under company number 05068802 whose registered office address is at Unit E6, Heritage Business Park, Heritage Way, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4BG.

We take the privacy of our customer and Website visitors very seriously. We ask that you read this privacy policy (Policy) carefully as it contains important information about how we will use your personal data.

Marla Custom Blinds (‘We’ or ‘us’) collect, use and are responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

Some outlets using the Marla Custom Blinds brand are independently owned and operated businesses or franchisees. These include:

  • Custom Blinds Ltd trading as Marla Custom Blinds
  • PCM Solar Ltd trading as Marla Custom Blinds
  • JNJ Project & Financial Controls Services Ltd trading as Marla Custom Blinds

When liaising with franchisees, the franchisee will be the data controller, rather than us, and some personal data collected will subsequently be shared with us. Each franchisee is responsible for the operation of its own independent franchise, including ensuring compliance with all applicable data protection legislation. Franchisees are committed to protecting your privacy and any breach is the sole responsibility of the franchisee, rather than us. Please see the privacy policy for the relevant franchisee for more information about how each franchise operates.
