Marla Commercial Blinds answer the Call

When you get an enquiry from the foremost independent business telecom provider, you know your reputation for quality, service, and value is spreading.

So, when OneCom approached us in late November to quote for the replacement of ninety-eight roller blinds in their offices in Whiteley, the team at Marla Commercial Blinds in Fareham responded fast.

Three days later, Marla’s commercial director, Danny Froud, met with Amanda, the head of facilities of Onecom, to discuss their requirements and survey the two buildings involved in the refurbishment.

“Onecom were impressed with the commercial windows blinds we had previously installed at their Innovation House office,” explained Danny “So they asked us to survey and quote for the remaining blinds at Innovation House and to replace the existing blinds in their other building, Onecom House in Solent Business Park.”

Four days later, Onecom accepted the quotation, and Marla’s Fareham factory geared up to produce the custom roller blinds using their commercial Dim-Out Fabric.

Once manufacturing was complete and the commercial window blinds had passed through quality control, Marla’s in-house installation team attended site, removed the old, failing blinds and fitted almost 100 custom-made replacements in just two days. The project was completed by early February, on time and within budget.

“To manufacture & install this amount of commercial window blinds within the given timeframe was a true team effort,” said Martin Froud, Marla’s MD. “Without Danny’s initial site survey and accurate measurements, the skill and expertise of Chris Martin and Kieran Harrop in the manufacturing of the binds and the experience and professionalism of Drew Mitchell in the execution of the installation, we couldn’t have achieved this mammoth task.”

Of course, what the client thinks matters most, so when Amanda said, “Thanks for the blind installation – they look great.” we knew we had another happy client!
